Launching game from shared folder on remote PC

I can backup my game from DVD to shared SMB folder. I've been trying to launch it from this location but it doesn't appears on game manager. Can you confirm that this is not possible?

Your're right this isn't possible.
The smb client is build in dvd2xbox. If you launch a game dvd2xbox get's unloaded and the bios will take over. Since the bios has no smb code implemented it can't access the share anymore.
